BYE BYE 2G. I don't know about the rest of the world but in the USA, there are only a few cellular companies still with 2G network. Once these companies shuts down their 2G network, all 2G devices (phones, GPS trackers, alarms, etc) will not work and will have to be upgraded to 3G or better. Luck Yepzon has already done this with their new product. The Yepzon Freedom which features an SOS button which will notify the predetermined user's phone
PROs- Has 3G + Wifi, Built-in key ring, SOS button, Ability for the user to self-adjust the connection time for moving and sleeping scenarios, monthly fee around $5-6 depending on usage, ability to buy data for roaming countries
CONs- Battery Life can always be improved, In the "Power Saving Mode" the auto connection does not accurately locate the tracker until you press "Locate Accurately" at which time you have to wait for the next connection window, Fee is charged by MB, not time, Fees are charged for roaming countries,
